Professor DING was elected as Fellow, Biomaterials Science and Technology (FBSE)

	During 10^th World Biomaterials Congress held in Montreal, Canada (May 18-22, 2016), the International Union of Societies for Biomaterials Science and Technology awarded some new Fellows, Biomaterials Science and Engineering (FBSEs). Professor Jiandong DING from China was elected as a new fellow. The Union honors his academic achievement by the following statement:
“For the development of cell responsive biomaterials for tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and drug delivery”.

	In the 10^th WBC, Professor Ding also chaired a session “General Session: Biomaterials for cardiovascular applications: materials innovation for stents and endovascular prostheses”. Associate Professor Lin YU in the group joined this grant academic conference together.
