Jinadong Ding’s group attended 2017 China conference on biological materials

Jinadong Ding’s group attended 2017 China conference on biological materials, which was held in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province from 27^th October to 30^th October. Professor Jiandong Ding gave the invited oral lecture. Professor Lin Yu, research assistant Ruili Liu, and the Ph. D. student Qian Ma gave the oral lectures respectively. Members in our group actively participated in poster submission. During the meeting, the members who submitted posters gave an explanation carefully. Four of them won the excellent poster award, including the postdoctor Jingyu Tang, the Ph. D. students Yongli Qi, Xiangyu Liang and Shuquan Cui. The contents of the posters include effect of residual monomers in thermogel on biocompatibility and HPLC dection in component, preliminary research on iron-based stents, design and preparation of quasi-spherical salt particles as water-soluble porogens to fabricate hydrophobic porous scaffolds for tissue engineering and tissue regeneration, and Monte Carlo simulation of mechanism behind thermogelling. The sessions include biocompatibility evaluation of biomedical materials, cardiovascular biomaterials and implantable/interventional instruments, tissue engineering and stem cells, and multifunctional hydrogel for biomedical applications. Professor Jiandong Ding made a summary about the oral lectures and posters. This meeting is grand in the field of Chinese biomaterials. The members in our group participate in the meeting carefully, and successfully completed the exchange of the knowledge of biological materials.
